I didn’t serve during a time of conflict, and when people ask me the hardest part about being in the Navy, I think they expect me to talk about Boot Camp. But that was easier in some ways than leaving the service. Survival skills šŸ”„ The s’mores just somehow taste better when you’ve started the fire using flint and steel šŸŖØšŸ”Ŗ CHICAGO— We finally experienced Bike the Drive, an annual fundraiser for @activetrans every Labor Day weekend and the only time Chicago’s beautiful and iconic LakeShore Drive is closed to cars and open for šŸš“ā€ā™€ļø. MACKINAC ISLAND— We finally made it this unique island off the coast of Michigan while road-tripping and camping in Upper Peninsula. We took the ferry over for the day from St Ignace. Below are some tips— and things we WISH we knew before going (SAVE for reference): Who needs water parks when you have this? We are always on the lookout for fun places to jump! This spot is located in Big Bay State Park on Madeline Island in Wisconsin.
