Doing our best to raise wild children. It’s not always easy. Like many other people we juggle work, school, sports. We don’t live in a camper or call campgrounds home. Sometimes, especially on social media, it can seem like you have to be one or the other — sell it all and RV the world, or be a super consumer constrained by suburban or urban life.

My love of travel was ignited while serving in the U.S. Navy for 7 years and living overseas. #sponsored Those friendships and experiences profoundly shaped me personally and professionally.

Sometimes people are surprised to learn I’m a veteran. #sponsored. I didn’t serve during a time of conflict, and when people ask me the hardest part about being in the Navy, I think they expect me to talk about Boot Camp. But that was easier in some ways than leaving the service.
