💍❤️16 years of incredible adventures together❤️ I bonded with the animals at Tulsa Zoo, and it was beautiful 💚 Mom guilt hits hard sometimes. This weekend I missed our son’s basketball championship game and my daughter’s Brownie meeting (I’m also the troop co-leader 🤦🏼‍♀️) because I’m a working mom and sometimes I travel for work. Every now and then, I feel guilt about being away, while also loving my career and trying to balance it all. My kids remind me to smile! They are happy. It’s ok. Sometimes this mom needs a silly reminder that it’s ok. They are ok. They’re and I’m enough. I don’t have to be everything to everyone all the time. ☘️Gray Skies, Green River — Chicago ☘️ This city has a large population of residents with Irish ancestry (yours truly included!🙋🏼‍♀️) and St Paddy’s Day is a big celebration. About that green river— the recipe is a closely guarded secret by the Chicago Plumber’s Union, but the city assures us it is vegetable-based dye and completely safe and eco-friendly🌎 🌿 Nature is Nourishment 🌿 When kids explore nature, their whole world opens up to amazing gifts. It feeds their curiosity, sense of wonder, and their imaginations flourish. It enriches their brains and bodies. Through nature exploration they deepen their sense of self and their connection to this incredible planet. When we give a child the opportunity to explore nature— we enrich their life. 👋🏻Hi friends, it’s been a minute and probably a good time for a “get to know us” moment. 😄 We deeply appreciate this supportive IG community, and love getting to know more about the people behind the accounts we love. So we should do the same! New state for me— New Mexico! I was here for work and only had one day to explore Albuquerque so this is what we did: ☘️ Who needs a little luck of the Irish? You’ll definitely feel it in Chicago over the next few weekends. The entire month of March is very green with neighborhoods celebrating with parades and festivities starting this weekend. Next weekend downtown Chicago dyes the river green— it’s definitely something to see! Any Star Wars fans out there? As our kids eagerly await the debut of The Mandalorian on @disneyplus tonight, we are reflecting on this otherworldly place we visited last summer that gave off all the Star Wars feels. What do you think? Do you agree?
